Our partnership with the Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Spiders is built on shared values: community, consistent improvement, and a genuine love for what we do. The Spiders are one of Sydney’s largest basketball associations, with more than 6,500 members and teams spanning every level from junior competitions through to elite programs like Men’s and Women’s NBL1 and the Waratah League.
For us, the connection was a natural one. Basketball is something we already love as fans, and when the Spiders approached us, we quickly developed a deep admiration for their values and the way they bring people and community together — kids, families, volunteers, and lifelong players — to build something bigger than the game itself. Like Barr Automotive, the Spiders are driven by teamwork, inclusivity, and the belief that growth never stops, on or off the court.

Our sponsorship began in 2025 with the Men’s Waratah team, and we’ve been proud to back them as they continue to push boundaries and raise the bar for local sport. Watching the players give their all every week — the grit, the teamwork, the hustle — it feels familiar. It’s the same energy that drives our own crew in the workshop; the team pulling together, backing each other, and striving to be better than we were yesterday.
Weekends at The Brickpit have become a ritual for us. You’ll often find us on the sidelines, cheering the players on, chatting with families, and soaking in the atmosphere. It’s a reminder of why we invest in local sport, because community doesn’t just happen; it’s built by people who show up.
